Dear Friend,
These last two days have been so busy. I've had two tests, and lots of work, and trying to keep up on homework. I've also been trying to keep up on current news events, working out, and trying to seek the Spirit. Right now I am sitting in a computer lab and it is 11:00pm, and I am working on writing a 5 page engineering paper. I think perhaps this is a time of testing to see if I will put the most important things first. It's hard because I don't want to just neglect school, because I know that education is important, but I also feel that spirituality and closeness to my Heavenly Father is so much more important. However, it seems that I spend much more time on academic pursuits than on spirituality. I hope that I can be the person the Lord wants me to be. I felt his Spirit richly tonight at the MTC. He gave me the words to speak as I taught a new district about why we plan. I felt his Spirit as I saw young elders use their priesthood to give a struggling sister a priesthood blessing, and as I watched how far their teaching has improved. It truly is a miracle. I know that the Atonement is real, and because of it, I can live with my Heavenly Father again.
